The Melissa Cardinals return to the field for Spring Game Day on Saturday, May 13 in preparation for the upcoming football season. The game is free to attend. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. at Cardinal Stadium with community tailgating beginning as early as 5:30 p.m. Spots are still open for the "Game Day Experience" with both the football and cheerleading programs. Melissa ISD is seeking feedback from parents/guardians regarding the 2022-2023 school year. Parents will receive a direct notification with the survey link for their child's school. Registration is now open for the Melissa ISD Summer 2023 Cardinal Camps! This summer we are offering youth camps for the following programs: athletic training, baseball, basketball, cheerleading, colorguard, CPR/first aid, football, golf, percussion, show choir, soccer, softball, theatre, track, volleyball, and wrestling. Due to the severe weather forecast for Thursday and Friday, the difficult decision has been made to cancel the Melissa ISD Special Olympics track meet originally scheduled for Friday, March 24 at Cardinal Stadium. Melissa ISD will host the 13th annual Special Olympics track meet Thursday, March 24 at Cardinal Stadium, welcoming student-athletes from a number of area schools. Opening ceremonies begin at 9:30 a.m. with track and field events starting at 10 a.m. We welcome the community to come out and cheer on our Cardinal athletes!
