The choirs of Melissa High School and Melissa Middle School will present their fall concert on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021, performing from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the Melissa Arts Center, located at 3030 Milrany Ln. Admission is free. We hope to see you there!
Melissa ISD Parents/Guardians: Please be advised that we are sending home two paper forms this week that need to be completed by you and returned to your student's school by next Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021. These forms include: 1) the Student Directory Information Release, and 2) the Internet Safety Policy & Acknowledgment Form. Students in Pre-K through 5th grade will receive the forms in their weekly folders. Students in 6th through 12th grade will receive the forms during their advisory period.

A virtual meeting for Melissa ISD parents and guardians of students in 6th-12th grade will be offered on Monday, Oct. 4, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. providing an overview of Teen Screen with the opportunity to ask questions. Cardinal Commendations were awarded to standout students and staff at the Melissa Schools Board of Trustees meeting on Sept. 20, 2021. This month's honorees were from Willow Wood Elementary, Melissa Middle School and the Sixth Grade Center, and Melissa High School. Reminder: The deadline for families to commit to switching their student(s) into the K-6 Online Program is Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021. Parents and guardians will be receiving a letter in the mail with instructions on how to use the new Home Access Center (HAC) to monitor student grades and attendance online. As part of Melissa ISD’s continued mitigation efforts surrounding COVID-19, the district’s onsite rapid COVID-19 testing program is expanding to offer drive-thru testing for students and employees.
