Congratulations to Lori Blanscet, Willow Wood Elementary’s Librarian, for being named on Tech4Learning’s national list of 2025 Innovative Educators! This recognition celebrates her exceptional work in enhancing education through technology and the success it has brought to WWE’s learning environment.
The Tech4Learning Innovative Educator (TIE) program honors educators, trainers, and school leaders who excel in integrating Tech4Learning products into their teaching. These outstanding individuals provide valuable feedback, share creative templates and curriculum ideas, and serve as role models for effective technology use in education.
Blanscet led her elementary students in utilizing an educational design technology, Wixie, to create digital stories, presentations, and art. With tools for writing, drawing, and voice recording, the program supports various learning styles while fostering creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
To ensure successful implementation, Blanscet trained all WWE teachers on incorporating this digital tool into their classrooms last fall. Her efforts have enriched student learning and helped develop essential 21st-century skills across the curriculum.
Congratulations to Lori Blanscet for this well-deserved honor and her commitment to innovation in education!
