Melissa ISD offices follow a modified schedule during the summer break from school. The standard summer office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with all offices closed on Fridays. Across the district, summer office hours take effect Monday, June 3, and normal office hours resume Monday, Aug. 5.

Melissa ISD will be closed districtwide on June 19 for Juneteenth.
Early childhood education, elementary, and middle school offices will be closed from June 20 through July 12, reopening with summer office hours on July 15.
The Melissa ISD Home Office and Melissa High School main office will be closed from June 27 through July 5, reopening with summer office hours on July 8.
The first day of the 2024-2025 school year is Monday, Aug. 19. Online enrollment is open for students who are new to Melissa ISD. Visit http://www.melissaisd.org/enroll to begin New Student Enrollment. Registration for returning students opens July 17 online at http://www.melissaisd.org/register.
