Reflecting on our first week of school and as we continue with week two, we wanted to share some important safety reminders related to school arrival and dismissal. To read the update, visit this link: https://www.melissaisd.org/article/821163.

MREC Cardinal Families!
It was a GREAT first day of school! Thank you so much for sharing your young Cardinals with us!
Just a few reminders for tomorrow:
1. Label ALL student items (backpack, lunch box, water bottle, jacket, etc.) with your Student's Name and Teacher Name
2. If you are wanting to change your student's dismissal (to walker, bus, etc.), email Tawny Wilson at tawnykneesewilson@melissaisd.org or call the office (214) 386-2416. Be sure you get CONFIRMATION of the change.
3. STAY in your car during carpool - arrival and dismissal. Your child will exit and enter on the driver side of your car. Please work with your child to exit and enter your vehicle independently.
4. Carpool parents - REVIEW the Carpool Map (attached) and Carpool Procedures (in Red Folder at Meet the Teacher).
5. Parents using walker for arrival or dismissal need to park at CARDINAL STADIUM and walk over to the campus.
Thank you for working with us to make this an AWESOME school year!! See you tomorrow!!

Welcome back, Cardinals! To all our students and staff, we hope you have a great first day of school. 📝📕📚
