The World Famous Harlem Wizards are bouncing into Melissa and taking on a team of our Melissa ISD teachers at the Melissa Middle School Gym on April 11th, 2024, starting at 7:00 pm. This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for MMS and SGC PTOs and should be a lot of fun! Reminder: The next IB information meeting is tonight, Tuesday, March 26, at Melissa Middle School. For rising freshmen interested in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, the deadline of Friday, April 12, 2024 is quickly approaching to enroll in pre-IB classes at Melissa High School. To be eligible to participate, students and parents must attend one IB informational meeting prior to enrolling in GT Seminar, the prerequisite class for freshmen interested in the IB Diploma Program. If you have not attended an IB informational meeting yet, please plan to join us before the window to enroll in GT Seminar closes for the 2024-25 school year. Melissa Middle School will host CultureFest, a cultural celebration, on March 21 from 6-7:30pm in the Middle School Gym. This student-led event will feature presentations, fashion, artwork, music, and dance from 30 different countries. Admission is free. We hope to see you there!
