Melissa Schools will be closed districtwide for Spring Break from March 8-12. Students will have a two-hour delayed arrival when they return to school on Monday, March 15, in order to allow Melissa ISD to offer COVID-19 vaccines to district employees that morning.
Monday, March 29 and Thursday, May 27 are Melissa ISD’s two Bad Weather Makeup Days for the 2020-2021 school year. Melissa ISD students will have school on both days to make up for the unexpected weather-related school closures that took place in February.

Melissa ISD schools and offices will reopen for normal operations beginning Monday, February 22, with the exception of the Melissa Ridge Education Center which will remain closed for one more week. Located next to Melissa High School, the MAC facility is still under construction but is expected to be completed in time for the public performances.
