Melissa ISD provides free and reduced-price meals for students who meet program qualifications. To continue receiving these benefits each school year, qualifying families must submit a new application annually.
If your child received free or reduced-price meals during the 2023-2024 school year, this benefit will expire on September 27, 2024. If you have not already completed an application for the 2024-2025 school year a new application must be completed and returned on or before September 27 to avoid an interruption in benefits.
Households who have been directly certified through state benefits should have received an award letter for the 2024-2025 school year. If you have not received an award letter, you will need to complete a 2024-2025 application to maintain your benefits.

If you have multiple school-aged children, you only need to complete one application for your family.

Return the completed application to one of your student’s homeroom teachers
Drop off your completed application at the Melissa ISD Child Nutrition office located at 2230 McKinney St., Melissa, TX
