Congratulations to the Melissa High School Robotics Team for taking 2nd in the State at the 2023 UIL State Robotics tournament on Nov. 30 through Dec. 2, 2023. The MHS Robotics team had 26 students competing in the tournament. Students competed in many parts of the tournament including engineering notebook, marketing presentation, marketing booth, building and driving the robot, and spirit and sportsmanship.
The MHS Robotics team earned two UIL State Runner-up Awards in the Robot Competition and the Overall Competition. Each student received a UIL trophy and a UIL silver medal for each award.
