Coach Kelley Pitzer has been the head boys’ soccer coach at Melissa High School for the past 10 years. He currently teaches English, College Preparatory Writing, and Creative Writing at MHS. During that time the team has qualified for the playoffs for eight of the ten years. Before his time at Melissa High School, he coached in Anna, and at Texoma Christian School, where they earned a State Championship.

Coach Pitzer has been in the teaching profession for almost two decades, has worked in the private sector, and was enlisted in the United States Air Force from 1993-1997. He has played soccer for ADO Den Haag in the Netherlands and was formally trained in the Arsenal FC system as a youth. Coach Pitzer has his Bachelor’s degree in English with a writing emphasis from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

He and his wife are both educators and they have three daughters. They love to camp and travel around the United States to experience the National Parks.
