Come join the Melissa Middle School theatre in their world of imagination…and chocolate as they perform Willy Wonka Jr. on May 1 & 3, 2025, at the Melissa Middle School. The performances on Thursday, May 1 will begin at 7:30 p.m. There will be two performances on Saturday, May 3, with one beginning at 2:00 p.m. The second showing that day will be the dinner theater performance, where the audience will be presented with dinner and a show that will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Willy Wonka Jr. is a whimsical musical based on Roald Dahl’s beloved story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The show follows young Charlie Bucket as he embarks on a magical adventure inside the mysterious chocolate factory owned by the eccentric Willy Wonka. Alongside four other golden ticket winners, Charlie encounters fantastical inventions, curious characters, and important life lessons. With catchy songs and colorful scenes, the musical celebrates imagination, kindness, and the power of making good choices.
General Admission Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students. General admission can be purchased in advance or at the door. Dinner Theatre tickets must be reserved in advance and are $18 a person. Tickets can be purchased at www.melissaisd.org/fine-arts-tickets. Tickets are limited so make sure to purchase now.
