On Wednesday, March 26, Mathews Auto Group (Honda and Nissan in Paris, TX) celebrated two extremely deserving educators from Melissa ISD by honoring them through their "Pay it Forward" initiative.
Among the honorees was Randi Anderson, a fourth-grade teacher at Harry McKillop Elementary. Principal Krissy Womack expressed her gratitude for Anderson, saying, “Ms. Anderson is contagious with her bright smile, positive energy, enthusiasm and high expectations for all. She has a huge heart for her students, team and HME and it shines bright for all to see. We are so proud of Randi!”
Charlotte Ramos, a fourth-grade teacher at North Creek Elementary, was also honored. Principal Amy Edwards spoke highly of Ramos, saying, “Mrs. Ramos is an amazing educator! She goes above and beyond for her students, team and our campus. She has a huge heart and cares about everyone so deeply and we are so thankful for the positive difference she makes every day!”
The dealership owners, Tim and Julie Anderson, are a former Melissa Cardinal family and initiated the 'Pay it Forward' program to recognize teachers who go above and beyond for students and the school without expecting anything in return. Both Anderson and Ramos were awarded $250 each through this initiative as a thank you for their service in education.
Congratulations to these outstanding teachers! We deeply appreciate your dedication to our Cardinals.
