Melissa High School One Act Play Ranked 1st at Zoning Contest & Advances to District

The Melissa High School One-Act Play earned first place at the Zone OAP Contest on Thursday, March 6, 2025, with their production of Where Words Once Were by Finegan Kruckemeyer. With this outstanding performance, the MHS One-Act Play advances to the District Contest on Thursday, March 27, at Rock Hill High School, where they will take the stage at 10:50 a.m.

MHS Theatre Director Megan Moore shared, “These students have been working tirelessly to bring the show to life, and it was wonderful to see their hard work pay off.”

In addition to the team’s success, several MHS OAP students received individual awards recognizing their talent and dedication. Congratulations to these students and their directors on this achievement! Melissa ISD wishes you the best at District—Go Cardinals!
