The Melissa Middle School Cheerleading squads brought home top finishes at the Garland ISD Cheer Classic Competition on February 22, 2025. Competing against 21 middle school teams from across the DFW area, both squads showcased their talent, energy, and precision. The 7th grade squad placed 2nd in the Gameday Large Squad category and 4th place overall while the 8th grade squad placed 4th in the Gameday Large Squad category and 6th place overall. Their hard work paid off in a big way, as they also earned the award for Best Overall Stunts in the entire competition!
