MHS Softball

The Melissa High School Softball team isn't just winning playoff games; they're rewriting the history books! Shattering the previous Texas High School softball state record of 82 home runs by Canyon High School in 2017, the MHS Lady Cardinals have set the new state record at 84 home runs in 33 games!

But their journey doesn't stop there. As they continue through the playoffs, the Lady Cardinals are going to keep swinging for the fences to, hopefully, break the national record of 105 home runs.

As the playoffs unfold, one thing is certain: the Melissa High School Softball team isn't just playing the game – they're making history, one home run at a time.

Tonight, the Lady Cardinals are back in action for the Regional Quarterfinals round of the softball playoffs against Kingwood Park at Rusk High School beginning at 6:00 p.m. For ticket information, please visit http://www.melissaisd.org/tickets.
