On Monday, March 18, 2023, the Melissa Schools Board of Trustees approved an order to cancel the board election scheduled for May 4, 2024, and certify the three incumbent candidates unopposed.
The following board candidates were up for re-election in May and will continue their respective terms for another three years.
Darren Thompson, Melissa ISD Trustee Place 3
Quentin Thomason, Melissa ISD Trustee Place 4
Omar Landrum, Melissa ISD Trustee Place 5
