Requests for Information
All requests for information are processed by the Melissa ISD Communications department in accordance with the Texas Public Information Act (TPIA), Texas Government Code §552.001, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and Melissa ISD Board Policy.
Questions regarding requests for information can be directed to Melissa ISD at connect@melissaisd.org.
Requests for information must be submitted to the Melissa ISD Communications department in writing, preferably by email. This procedure allows the district to accurately document the date each request is received and respond in writing within the required time period, at which point the responsive documents will be made available for review and/or retrieval.

Mail the written request to the following location: Melissa ISD Home Office (Attn: Communications), 1904 Cooper St., Melissa, TX 75454.
Fax the written request to 1-469-729-7734 to the attention of Melissa ISD Communications.
Please note that for individuals requesting printed copies of information, the district charges per Melissa ISD Board Policy GBAA.
