Melissa ISD is celebrating the arts with the annual Heart for the Arts festival the evening of Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, at and around the Melissa High School's Symmetry Plaza. Heart for the Arts is a free outdoor family-fun event with balloon animals, arts and crafts stations, performances, and more.

All performances and activities will be led by Cardinals in the Melissa ISD band, cheerleading, choir, dance, theatre, and visual arts programs.

Bundle up and celebrate the arts! Heart for the Arts will be held from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024 at and around Symmetry Plaza, located at Melissa High School at 3030 Milrany Ln. Admission is free; donations to the Melissa ISD fine arts programs are welcome.

Heart for the Arts is a reimagined version of the "Expresso Yourself" fine arts showcase that was held annually at Melissa ISD from 2015-2021. The Heart for the Arts logo design was created with student artwork and digital edits by Luci Davis and Annaliese To.
