Eligibility
Melissa ISD students who reside outside of the two-mile radius of their school or reside within the two-mile radius without a walkable path are eligible to receive bus transportation provided by Melissa Schools. The Melissa ISD interactive zoning map can be used to determine an estimated distance, walking pathway, and/or driving route between a student’s residence and their school. Registration
In order for an eligible student to receive bus transportation, a parent or guardian must review the Transportation Handbook and complete the registration process. Students will need to be registered prior to Aug. 5 in order to receive bus transportation on the first day of school.
Request Bus Transportation Service:
Bus transportation services are requested during the New Student and Returning Student Enrollment and Registration process for eligible students. If you requested bus services during student registration, no further action is necessary.
